Hey folks / Sayonara

Since I stopped updating a while back I decided I won't be adding anything here any more. I just don't seem to be with it any more. I'm sure that will disappoint a few of you but I guess I'm not much of a Deviant any more.

I'm going to start pulling pictures after a little while, slowly.

  • Current Residence: Far too often in my own little mind
  • Interests: Philosophy, religion, spirituality, literature, roleplaying, other geeky stuff
  • Favourite movie: Just one? Memento stands out, though I couldn't say it's my favorite favorite.
  • Favourite band or musician: Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, and others whose names escape me now.
  • Favourite genre of music: Different types of metal, such as operatic, symphonic, power, and folk.
  • Favourite artist: I'll get back to you on that.
  • Favourite poet or writer: Eliot, Yeats, Camus, Heidegger. Fiction's another issue entirely.
  • Favourite photographer: My eyes, when they work.
  • Favourite style of art: I seem to enjoy doing airbrush a lot.
  • Operating System: Ugh. Windows XP.
  • MP3 player of choice: Winamp by default
  • Shell of choice: She sells sea shells by the sea shore.
  • Wallpaper of choice: None any more.
  • Skin of choice: Mine is the only one I know.
  • Favourite game: Hmm...
  • Favourite gaming platform: Playstation platforms usually have the best video games these days.
  • Favourite cartoon character: Stewie and Brian from Family Guy
  • Personal Quote: Being is the filling in the twinkie that is nothingness.
  • Tools of the Trade: Tip-top secret, of course.

You have nice art. Your style is very interesting...its between Van Gogh's Cubism and Pyschidelic....*blink* Its realistic at the same time abstract! :O Very nice use of colors as well! :heart:

Thanks for the compliments, though I'm not really an artist. I'm more of a dabbler who's gotten fascinated with making cheaply-produced images. :D

I might call myself a writer but I don't know if I qualify as an artist. Thanks for your kind thoughts, though. Maybe I might become an artist some day if people believe in me enough to provide encouragement.

Hey! An artist is a term that describes anyone with creativity....we just have different mediums of choice. If you like to dabble on pictures you can be called an Artist. Becuase you improve the pictures. You still have the "eye" to see what looks good or not. Your "eye" is very interesting since it likes bright colors while my "eye" has a tendency to favor dark colors.

Heh. I like dark colors, actually. It just seems better to make the stuff I've done using the colors that I do. And I'm only using Paint to make this stuff, so there's a limited color palette.

But thanks for your kind words. :) I'll keep working, though things are getting busy so I won't be able to work as much unless I get lucky.
